WASTE HAULERS

City of Burbank Requirements for Waste Haulers

1. Obtain an annual business license from the License and Code Services Division of the Community Development Department. Click here for License and Code Services home page Business License.

2. Obtain an annual waste collector permit from the Public Works Department, click here for permit, Waste Collector Permit Application. There is no fee for waste collector permits. Windshield placards are issued annually and must be displayed in waste collector vehicles operating within the City. Click here for annual form Annual Waste Collector Permit Renewal.

3. Submit quarterly reports/fees pursuant to Burbank Municipal Code Section 24-111. Quarterly reports/fees are due:

January 30 (for preceding October-December)
April 30 (for preceding January-March)
July 30 (for preceding April-June)
October 30 (for preceding July-September)
